My son has had these same style shoes from size 5 to now mens 9. He finds them very comfortable to wear all day for school. We have only had to replace each pair due to being outgrown, not due to condition. The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is for the speed at which the sole tred wears down. New shoes in September have no grip left by the time the ice and snow fall in January.
