This rug grip really works well .my rug is on carpet. Its my second one the last one I had lasted 5+ years so very happy with it .

An essential buy for under your rug especially on wooden floors. It keeps your rug firmly in place which avoids accidental slips for dogs and children and frail adults. I wouldn’t dream of having a rug without putting a grip underneath.

Put it down this morning under the runner we have along the bi fold doors we have into the garden. We bought one slightly larger than needed & simply cut to size. It looks great Tested by all the dogs & didn’t move an inch

Works very well on a laminate floor, but less well on top of a fitted carpet; the rug on top of the fitted carpet doesn't 'creep' as much as it did previously - just more sneakily, so you don't catch it doing it at the time and only later notice it's shifted a little out of position from when you last put it exactly where you want it... From how well it works on the laminate floor, I think the rug grip is pretty good - it's just that the fitted carpet and other rug are in collusion.
