We’d already bought two full length pairs of these curtains for our lounge a year ago, and have been really impressed with them. So when it came to purchasing some curtains for the snug, we didn’t hesitate to buy the same again. We went for the white option both times, which we may come to regret when they start to look a little grubby as they’re dry clean only.
In our lounge they look great with our warm grey sofas, and we have kept the decor very neutral in there. In the snug, we have a muted teal sofa and have added bright multicoloured cushions and the white curtains still look fantastic.
As expected, they need a bit of an iron over before hanging, but I think that’s the same for any type of curtain.
They were good at keeping the heat out in the hot summer, and they’re good at keeping the heat in (especially noticed at the patio door) in the winter. They’re not the thermal lined version though, so I think that’s pretty good going.
A word of warning though, the extra wide curtains come with joins in them (we sent these back as we realised we didn’t need the widest set). The join wouldn’t have been too much of a problem if it had been towards the outside edge of each curtain, but each curtain was identical, so the join was near the centre of one curtain and not “hidden” in between an eyelet either (where it might have been less noticeable). However, this was a problem we identified a year ago, so that may well have been resolved by the design team since as I think there were a few other reviews noting this at the time.
